Sheep Hides Very thin and very soft
- these are 2 oz (1/32 of an inch) sheep hides, each measuring about 6
sq ft of surface area. Struck through,
drum dyed, blacker than
the inside of a moose. This is a nice, thin leather that you can
use for garments, linings, pouches, and a bazillion
other things. Can
be sewn on most home sewing machines.

Tan/Charcoal Reversible Cowhide Sides,
3 oz 2.75 to 3.25 oz cowhide
sides, glossy tan on one side, matte, almost suede-like charcoal gray/black
on the back.
These sides are considered
a 'reversible' leather because you can use it with either side showing.
Let's say you need a new
vest to wear to your local poker tournament - now you can just flat make
a vest, no need to line it.
With the time you save you'll
be able to actually sit down and figure out how badly the odds are stacked

Cognac Brown Super Soft
Whitetail Deer Hides ***NOTE!! All of these hides
are the exact same color - the photo on lower right shows it best - the
variations you see are the result of bad lighting, an old camera, and an
idiot holding the camera (the President of the entire corporation)(Don't
tell him we said that).*** Cognac Brown deer hides
are from white tail deer that are taken to butcher shops all across our
wonderful nation each Fall. The hides end up being chromium tanned
and then dyed, split, and finished
right here in the USA. These
are great hides for garments, soft bags, box linings, etc. We sell
these in two sizes - large and small.
The smaller hides are 6
sq ft or under; the larger ones are 7 sq ft or bigger. Small hides
are $25; large hides are $35. 50-state USA shipping
is included in these prices,
so there's nothing else to add on. Very thin and very soft - these
are 2 oz (1/32 of an inch) hides.
These came from deer taken
by hunters, so there are bullet holes in some hides. No holes means
the hunter jumped out of the bushes and scared the deer to death.

SUPER SOFT DEER SPLITS Very soft, very thin deer
splits have a texture like suede. These hides are dyed all the way
through, and are a by-product of
the tanning process for
top-grain deer leather. Available in the colors shown; these hides
average 5-6 sq ft of surface area,
and will have holes and
blemishes, no two ways about it. Good for many crafts, just right
for when you need a thin leather.

We're also selling groups
of ten regular size deer splits for $160, and this can be any combination

Binder's Leather Firm,
veg tan pigskin hides, very stiff This is a firm bodied leather,
vegetable tanned pighide, compressed at the tannery between pinch rollers
to make it a more hard, durable leather, specifically tanned
for use as book binding
leather. Cover your notebooks, your text books, and your old Model
Car magazines with it. Available in the colors listed in the pull-down
menu.
Hides run about 3.5 to 4
feet long and 2.5 feet wide, or about 10 sq ft of surface area, with a
thickness that runs 2.5 oz across the hide. Haircell texture on the
surface.
These are older hides that
sat in a warehouse for a long time, but they seem to have been stored properly,
don't stink to High Heaven, and are still in very good condition.
Book Binding Bends
$35 each or get 6 for $150,
and it's OK to ask us to pick out a mixture of colors for you, as you see
fit.

This leather can be soaked
in warm water and then formed to a shape. It stays in that shape
after it dries out.

Small Cowhide Leather Craft Panels,

are sets of three leather panels from one of the USA's best tanners.
These panels run between
1 and 2 sq ft of surface area, drum dyed black and embossed with a haircell
(very fine grain) texture. Regular temper - not too soft, not too
stiff.
Thickness is 2.75-3 oz,
or less than 1/16 of an inch. Good leather for making wallets, cases,
or accessories.

THIN DEER SKIVERS Thin White Tail Deer
Hides These are skivers that were
cut from chrome tanned white tail deer hides
This is USA deer leather.
Chrome tanned, dyed white
(dye penetrates all the way through the leather),
but they look a little off-white
to very light grayish in color.
The leather thickness ranges
from 1 to 3 oz (1/64" to a little under 1/16 of an inch).
Very, very soft. How
soft? Like an old t-shirt that you can't throw away because
it still has that stain
on it from that Kansas concert at the Hollywood Sportatorium. It's
special.
