long time, seen a lot of trunks. A lot.
Every so often one stands
out from the crowd, and this is one of them.
A nice, simple, clean trunk,
probably made in the 1880s, and probably sold through the Sears catalog.
Nice hardware, original
handles. Sanded smooth inside, ready for use as a storage trunk in
your home.
Measures 29 inches wide
by 17 inches front to back, and stands 19 inches tall.
Working lock, original,
comes with one barrel key.
The top is not flat - it
was designed to have a slight slope toward front and back.
