This trunk has been consigned
to us by Maine craftsman Norm Davidson.
Standard box trunk was originally
covered in canvas, but that went ratty over the years so Norm removed it.
The entire trunk, including
the hardwood slats, has been sanded smooth and finished with several coats
of tung oil.
The vertical metal bands
are their natural silvery color- no paint on them. Norm painted the
corners black - looks nice.
Measures 33 inches wide
by 20 inches front to back, and stands 24 inches tall.
Has a nice tray inside for
storing your smaller items.
No key for the lock, which
is a very fancy Corbin model.

your questions as quickly as we can. Don't want to use PayPal or

just drop us an e-mail and
let us know you'd like to mail a check or money order for this or that
trunk. We'll remove that trunk from our For Sale page and hold it
for you until your payment arrives.

Once the money is settled,
we'll ship your trunk to you by UPS; you check it over when you get it.
If you like it, great, we're all done.
If you don't like it, just
send the darned thing right back for a refund. The return shipping is your
expense. It's a simple method of conducting commerce over the web,
but it has worked successfully for us for over a decade.
A note on personal checks
- we don't mind them a bit. We aren't one of those "hold your check
for two weeks" joints. We try to ship as soon as possible.

We do our best to play it
safe when we ship a trunk to you. We pack them in cardboard and ship
