Sheet Brass for the Edges of Your Trunk
Our brass sheet is sturdy enough to protect the edges of your trunk, but thin enough to be cut with scissors and bent around
corners without too much effort. Scuff it with steel wool and then it can be painted if you'd like.
Our sheet brass is 30 gauge, or 0.010" thick. Brass sheet is 12 inches wide, and sold
by the running foot ($15 per foot), and, like we've been doing since we first started this
dynamic corporation, USA shipping is included in the price.
Example: A piece of sheet brass measuring 12" wide by 36" long is 3 running feet and costs $45, delivered to any USA address (yup, even AK, HI, and PR)

TRUNK LID DUST BANDING
Also known as Edge Banding
Steel dust banding is typically used around the bottom edge of the trunk lid, helps to keep dust out of the trunk. It can also be used as strapping to run across the lid or up the front of the trunk.
Heck, it's up to you what you do with it, we just sell it by the foot. This banding is black steel, fairly easy to bend around corners, and is sold in two widths: 3/4 or 1-1/4 inches wide. Thickness is 0.031".
We have this priced per running foot, shipping and handling are included, at least for destinations in the USA.
This is not the same thing as the thin metal that runs up the corners of your trunk - this only is used on the lid or face of most trunks. If you need thin metal to
replace the old stuff on the corners of your trunk we recommend that you scroll up this page a bit to take a look at our brass sheet.
Again, this metal right here is for the bottom edge of the trunk lid only.

Note: See the nice 90-degree bend in the banding shown in the last photo? You too can make sharp, snappy corners
like this - just clamp the banding in a vise, bend by hand and then tap down with a hammer until you have a right angle.
