Locks and parts sold on this page are old, originals that we've removed from trunks in our shop over the last couple of decades.
Prices listed include shipping to any USA address. Most have common mounting patterns - three nails on the bottom, a bolt
through the center, etc., surface mount or mortise mount(needs a hole for the lock mechanism) and mounting holes usually line up with the originals.
These are old - expect some rust and grime, please.

Eagle Lock Co surface mount lock (no mortise required).
Overall dimensions are 3-3/4" wide by 6-1/2" tall.
Plain steel; will need to be polished a bit and then you should put a clear coat on it or paint it.
Comes with one key, coded Eagle 8442.

Heavy trunk lock made in Europe, would look at home on a Vuitton or the new toy box you built for the grandkids.
All brass, in good condition. Polish it up if you want to, or leave it tarnished.
There is no key included - this lock cannot lock without the key, but it still looks good.

The top piece or receiver plate measures 3 and 3/4" by 3 and 3/4".

Early Eagle trunk lock, with a reporoduction key and it doens't have the hasp,
which is that dangly thing that hangs down from the lid and goes into the locking slot

This is an original 'Tourist's Trunk Strap' which allowed you to lock your trunk shut while it was traveling from over here to over there.
Cotton web strap is in good condition, though a bit dirty, and the locking buckle is in very good condition. Comes with one working key.
Will fit trunk with a total outside dimension (up the front, across the top, down the back, and underneath, back to the point of beginning) of 82 inches or less.

Old Excelsior lock for wardrobe trunks. Mounts with a single bolt which is NOT included. The bolt had a square shape just beneath its head
and that allowed it to turn a locking mechanism inside the trunk. Grab the entire lock and twist it to the side to lock or unlock.
Comes with one working, original key. Overall dimensions are 3-5/8" wide by 6-3/8".

Genuine US Army Issue Locks, Made in the USA by Eagle Lock Co in 1943
New old stock - never used, in original boxes
Yes, they're green just like most army stuff, but these can be painted any color you'd like to slap on them. Heavy duty solid steel lock with steel tumblers.
Comes complete with the lock, backplate, rivets and burrs for setting (or use our brass or steel nails), and two keys. Still packed in the original boxes from 1943.
An excellent, heavy duty lock. Measurements overall for the complete unit when closed are 6 inches tall by 3.25 inches wide.

This is an original Yale lock, new in the box, dated 1927. and was the type that went on a wardrobe trunk. It mounts on a square bolt (included)
so that you could twist the body of the lock to unlatch the trunk. Very cool to find a complete set, and this set includes
the small lock used to hold the locking bar in place (keeps the drawers shut). The inside lock is keyed the same as the outside lock for convenience.

Very small Excelsior lock for an automobile trunk.
As you can see it's a little rusty and has two rivets still in the mojunting holes (you can grind them off). Comes with two keys.
This lock measures 2-1/8" by 3-5/16" overall, when closed.

Back plate is 7-1/8" by 2-7/8".

This lock can be mounted to your trunk with a single center bolt or with two nails/rivets/screws.

Set of 3 pair of old case hinges, as shown, made in the 1930s. Lines on the photos are 1" squares.
These hinges are typical of those used on suitcases, toolboxes, small trunks, and carrying cases in the 1930s and 1940s.
