ORIGINAL OLD STOCK TRUNK TRAYS FOR SALE

Tray Bracket for the Inside Lid of Your Trunk
Antique trunk parts and hardware
Some trunks have a tray inside that can swivel upwards into the lid when the tray is open.
These trunks will have a piece of metal on one side of the tray or the other. and that
piece of metal is meant to be caught on a bracket or catch that looks like this.
These are old original tray brackets, from the late 1800s.  Just spares that we found in trunks that no longer had a tray.
They mount with a single nail and swivel loosely.  About 4-1/4" long overall, and about 1/16" thick.  Nickeled steel.
Tray Bracket  $8 each, USA shipping included

CUSTOM-BUILT TRAYS

Sorry - we no longer offer a custom tray building service.  We may start it up again if the entire planet takes a class to learn how to measure accurately.
We used to make trays from scratch - here's how they used to look when we created them here in the shop:

Tray Snaps
steamer trunk repair parts for saletrunk tray snaps for salesnaps for the lid of a steamer trunk tray
Found these in a warehouse clean-out at an old luggage factory in NYC.  Leather tabs with the female end of a snap set set into each one.  Where's the male end of the snaps?
Must be fishing season because he's run off.  These are original, old stock tray snaps, used for snapping down the fiberboard lid of an old steamer trunk tray.  Brown leather tabs are
3-5/8" long and, at their widest spot, they're 1-1/4" wide.  Inside diameter of the snap is 1/4", so if you want these to work you'll need to find a male snap half - we flat out DO NOT have them.
Sold in pairs, original tray snap tabs, $10 per pair, USA shipping included.
