rabbit, goat, and calf hides available in a wide variety of colors and
patterns.

you a general idea of the styles available currently.
We also get nice furry tails
from one of our suppliers - these are left over from fur-related manufacturing
processes.

GOAT-A-PALOOZA
Hair-on goat hides are beautifully
tanned, sanded suede underside is a great natural tan color, and the hair
side is clean. These hides have hair that averages about 1 to 1.5
inches in length,
and most are spotted or
mottled brown or dark brown or black, but we can also dig out hides that
are solid dark brown if you'd like (just include a note when you order).
Very soft hides include
legs and necks. Each hide is about 16 inches wide and 24 inches long,
give or take a little. We have thousands of these in stock -
buy as many or as few as
you'd like. Prices, as always, include free shipping. These
hides can go priority mail so AK and HI also get free shipping with our
goat hair-on hides.

FURRY TAILS
Coyote Tails - Nice and
Fluffy!
Coyote tails are left over
from making fur-lined jackets. These tails are from wild USA coyotes
and average about 16 to 18 inches long, very nice quality hair in excellent
condition.
Each tail has a section
of hide attached so that you have something to stitch through if you want
to attach these to your Mountain Man outfit, your dance leotard, or your
kids.

Fox Tails - Nice and

These tails are from USA
foxes and average 14 to 16 inches in length. Sturdy leather hide
still attached at the base of the tail so you can attach these to your

or weave them into your
hair before you go out hoofin' at Elmer's on Saturday night.

use a lot around here, but it sure fits these mink tails. Dark brown
or black mink tails are plush and soft and average 10 inches in length.

the fine underhairs (just made that word up from scratch) on the dark brown

Coyote Faces
Great for decorations, traditional garb,

over from coat making. Nicely chrome tanned, ready to be put to use.
Some parts of these faces, such as the nose and lips, are firm to the touch.
The ears are kind of firm
too. The rest of the leather is reasonable soft. These have
the ears, lips, and noses intact, eyeholes are clean, fur is nice and soft.
Average measurements are
about 10 inches wide by 10 inches long. Charlie says if you stick
one of these out on the fence post on a full moon night you can hear it
howl. Charlie drinks a lot.

Most shearling is made from
sheep, but these hides are goat fur, cropped down. Roughly 2 feet
long by 1 foot wide, with the fur cropped to about 1/2" in length and vat
dyed.
The leather side (also known
as the flesh side, which is the opposite of the hairy side)(and they say
you can't learn anything while you're shopping).
