White duck cloth, 100% cotton. Wasn't used on quite so many trunks as the dark green, but it was still popular. Some of our
customers like this stuff because they can dye it any old color they feel like. Lightweight stuff is easy to work with.

Very Thin White Cotton Duck Cloth for The Inside of Antique Trunks
This is very thin, almost like gauze, but it's still white duck cloth, 100% cotton.
Back in the late 1800s/early 1900s this type of fabric was often used to line the inside of a trunk.
Smear in some wood or craft glue, a nice thin layer, and then push this stuff into it.
Lightweight stuff is easy to work with.
This fabric is 84" wide (look, Jack, that's 7 FEET!) and is sold by the running yard.
